For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, so why
are we so quickly to judge others? One thing that we have to remember is that
God knows how we judge others and will judge you the same way. You must examine
your life before you judge anyone; take time to think about your past mistakes,
motives, sins, and your spirit. We as Christian believers can examine each other,
but we are to use Christian love. Christian love is the humbleness of them all,
not to be confused with hypocrisy. These three scriptures below will help you
understand:
Matthew 7:1-5
New
International Version (NIV)
Judging Others
1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way
you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be
measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at
the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in
your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out
of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first
take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the
speck from your brother’s eye.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13
New
International Version (NIV)
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the
church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those
outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”[a]
Romans 3:23
New
International Version (NIV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
